2017 Property Tax Deadline

The City Office will be closed on June 30th in recognition of Canada Day.  Due to this closure, the deadline to pay your 2017 property taxes without penalty has been extended to Monday, July 3, 2017.

Congratulations Jean Bennett

Congratulations to Jean Bennett, winner of the Canadian Red Cross 72-hour Disaster Preparedness Kit.  Tony Caissie (Red Cross) presented Mrs. Bennett with her prize.

The Emergency Preparedness display was at Melfort City Hall for the month of May.  Thank you to all that entered the draw.  The "Get Prepared" campaign encourages Canadians to be prepared to cope on their own for at least the first 72 hours of an emergency, enabling first responders to focus on those in urgent need.  For more information about emergency preparedness, check out www.getprepared.ca.
