BYLAW ENFORCEMENT

Civic bylaws are intended to keep our city clean, healthy and safe. The City of Melfort Bylaw Enforcement Officers' mandate is to promote, facilitate and enforce general compliance with the provisions of bylaws that pertain to the health, safety and welfare of the community. The Bylaw Enforcement Officer obtains compliance through education and mediation, in addition to the issuance of fines and injunctions. There are several City officials that are appointed to be responsible for enforcement of specific bylaws.

The Bylaw Enforcement Officer maintains a varied schedule that includes evenings and weekends. If you are unable to reach the Enforcement Officer during office hours, please leave a voicemail message and the Officer will respond as soon as possible.
