The Melfort Business Revitalization Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirby Hardwick as Main Street Program Coordinator for the Main Street Melfort Project. Kirby brings with her to this position, education and experience in journalism, advertising, marketing and public relations. She has become known around the community through her role as a local news reporter and has built valuable relationships with a wide variety of individuals, businesses and organizations.

Donna Ponath, President of the non-profit business corporation states, "Ms. Hardwick will commence her new role as Main Street Coordinator in mid-July. We are excited to have her working on behalf of our organization to rehabilitate and revitalize the Main Street Area".

The Melfort Business Revitalization Corp. is a non-profit organization created with the objective of bringing together community residents, business and other stakeholders to revitalize downtown Melfort. Goals of the corporation include: increasing economic development through diversifying downtown Melfort; creating a beautiful, inviting, pedestrian-oriented downtown and promoting and creating awareness of our downtown. The Corporation will open the Main Street Melfort headquarters in the Historic Melfort Post Office later this summer.
