Press Release - Seniors' Housing Development

The City of Melfort announced today that Bridge Road Development has purchased land in the Spruce Grove Neighbourhood for the proposed development of a senior's residence project.  The project site is located on Hutcheson Street, north of the Covenant Church.

Bridge Road intends to initially build one 24 unit apartment complex and when the project is fully developed it could contain up to 72 living units. The proposed buildings will have living units ranging from approximately 1,000 to 1,400 square feet. They will share a common courtyard with balconies and available main floor enclosed parking. Bridge Road Developments offers worry free housing for seniors with all-inclusive rent exclusive of cable, phone and parking.

Since its inception in 2007, Bridge Road Developments has shown what a young and innovative company, built on a lifetime of experience, can do to contribute to the active living lifestyle that people need in today's fast-paced society!  The success has been evident in the last few years as rural communities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan have approached Bridge Road Development to develop housing complexes that will meet the demand for a new vision of aging.  Currently, they have developed and constructed over 350 apartment homes in 22 communities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, each with individual personalities that make these communities unique.
