Melfort Multi-K Registration

May 11 - 21, 2012 is Spring Clean-up Week in the City of Melfort.  The contractor will pick up all garbage, such as tree limbs, leaves, grass and garden refuse.  All tree limbs must be under 4' in length, branches must be tied in bundles and leaves and grass must be placed in a Greenland waste cart or bagged in clear bags. 

Landfill fees will be waived this week for all Melfort residents!  Please note that all leaves and grass must be bagged in clear bags.  Loose refuse will not be collected.  Limbs must be cut into proper lengths and bundled or they will not be picked up. 

No household furniture, appliances or construction material will be picked up and fees for this type of refuse will not be waived.

Hours of Operation for Melfort Landfill:
9:30 am to 5:30 pm - Monday to Saturday
Closed on Sunday

Note:  The Landfill will be closed on Sunday, May 20, 2012, but will be opened on Victoria Day, Monday, May 21, for your convenience.  For further information, please call the Melfort Landfill at 752-3242.
