City outpaces provincial growth

The population of Saskatchewan continued to grow in 2011 by a rate of 1.3%.  Over the same period, the population of the City of Melfort has grown at a rate of 10%...nearly 8 times the provincial average!

Covered health population figures released by the province earlier this month showed the population of the City of Melfort has grown by 581 people, from 5,834 to an all time high of 6,415.  Growth in the City of Melfort represented over 4% of the growth in the entire province in 2011.  Click here for a copy of the entire Press Release.
