Lakeland District SSFA is bringing Pickleball to Melfort, with a grant from the Melfort Multi-K.  A recreational evening will be held on Thursday, February 16, from 8:30 - 10:00 pm at the Kerry Vickar Centre to let the community see what Pickleball is all about.  Paddles and balls will be supplied.  Come out and try it - you never know, you might like it.  Please contact Carol or Jerry at 306-752-3885 or text 306-921-9922 for more information.

Welcome to the Melfort Marlins! The Melfort Marlins Summer Swim Club is the only competitive speed swimming club in Melfort and area, and we would like to welcome you to our team! This parent and volunteer-supported sports club brings you the challenge of being your best -- in the lanes, on deck, and in life -- and with a whole lot of fun thrown in! Our team / family mix atmosphere gives kids and youth, ages 6-17, a safe, healthy, encouraging place to strive for excellence. We encourage nutrition, fitness, safety and team spirit. Our certified coach(s) and assistant coaches are part of our community and you'll feel their push to swim harder, push faster, master your strokes, improve your times -- and to cheer on your friends.

The Marlins offer two groups for you to participate in: the "I Can Swim" group for ages 6-7 and the Competitive swim team for swimmers ages 7-17. Members of our Competitive Swim Team have the opportunity to compete in meets all across Saskatchewan, including the Northern and the Provincial Meets. We practice up to eight times a week, here, at the Palace, from May until August.

Whether you're just learning to swim, you want to keep up your endurance for your winter sports, or you're a serious competitive speed swimmer going for gold, the Melfort Marlins Summer Swim Club is the place for you! Come visit us at the Palace! It's time!
