Surrounded by large trees for a peaceful retreat and connected to the walking trail and ball park, Spruce Haven Park was bequeathed to the City of Melfort by the Howe’s family. It is located at the intersection of Star City Road and Spruce Haven Road.
Spruce Haven Park has a play structure and a picnic area comprised of two picnic shelters (one with power) and access to water, washrooms, telephone and R.V. waste disposal. During the summer of 2008, the City will be constructing a new washroom facility and picnic shelter. Overnight camping is not permitted.
While visiting at the park, stop at the Chamber of Commerce Tourism Information Centre to take a look at the display of local artisans’ wares or go for a round of mini-golf.
