The City of Melfort and our Regional Municipal Partners, along with Avatex Devcorp, the Family Physicians Group and Kelsey Trail Health Region invite you to attend the sod turning for the new Wellness Centre, a clinic that will accommodate up to 16 physicians and lease space for health and wellness specialists, plus pharmacy with dispensary. All conveniently located at the Melfort Hospital, Broadway Avenue North.

Playing the violin since the age of five and completing a Master of Music degree at the U of A, Daniel has performed at the 2012 London Olympics, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Glen Gould Studio in Toronto and a number of folk festivals around the world. Daniel is the first and only Albertan to win the Canadian Grand Master Fiddle Competition. He currently teaches as sessional faculty at MacEwan University in the jazz and popular music program and has had experience teaching with a number of music organizations throughout Canada. Daniel has six albums to his credit, including three solo albums. Nominated in 2006 for “Young Performer of the Year” at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, Daniel is a founding member of Trad’badour, a French-Canadian duo with Roger Dallaire, and Hot Club Edmonton with guitarist Clinton Pelletier. Hot Club Edmonton was awarded “Instrumental Album of the Year” at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2010. www.danielgervais.ca.
