MELFORT & DISTRICT MUSEUM

The Museum features an extensive collection of farm machinery, equipment and tools that were used in the development of the agriculture industry in Saskatchewan's parkland. Located at 401 Melfort Street West.

The one-room country school brings back memories for all those who attended these schools on the prairies.

The General Store is filled with dry goods, hardware, tools and groceries. The building also includes the Busy Bee Cafe, a doctor's office and dentist office.

Other furnished buildings include the South Melfort Post Office, a land titles office, barber shop and blacksmith shop.

The Exhibit Hall features a transportation display along with agriculture tools, industrial and commercial displays.

The Power House features a gallery of ever-changing displays.

The Bennett House is a two-story log house with furnishings from the early 1900's, showing the lifestyle of our first settlers. The house is part of an extensive collection of early buildings and artifacts depicting Saskatchewan's development.
